Visitors to our website

The only data we collect that could be personal data is data you have expressly provided to us. This may be your name and email address if you choose to subscribe to our newsletter, or it may be billing and shipping information during the checkout process.

Newsletter subscription

In order to inform you about what is happening on the website or to inform you about offers and discounts, we ask for your e-mail address and your name, which we do not disclose to other organizations and companies under any circumstances. We do this through a third party, MailChimp, and this is what we use to deliver our newsletter to you. We collect statistics about email opens and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our email newsletters. For more information about how Mailchimp processes your data, please see the privacy notice for  MailChimp . You can of course unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time by clicking on the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of our emails or by emailing support-hr@naturecan.com and requesting that your email address be removed from our database.

Currency selection and conversion

By using our website, you (the visitor) agree to allow third parties to process your IP address to determine your location for currency conversion purposes. You also agree to have that currency stored in your browser's session cookie (a temporary cookie that is automatically removed when you close your browser). We do this so that the selected currency remains selected and consistent when browsing our site, so that prices can be converted to your (visitor's) local currency.

Writing a review

Leaving a product review on our website is done through a third party that specializes in reviews. It helps us ensure that reviews are collected in a consistent manner and that the anonymous data it collects, such as how many people rated a product 4 stars, can be used by other web services to help with marketing or provide a way to filter reviews. You can choose whether you want to leave your name on the review, but leaving an anonymous review is also an option. Here you can view their  privacy policy  and also information on   data protection.

Links from our site to other websites

This privacy policy does not cover any links you may find on this website that link to other websites. Those sites are not covered by this Privacy Policy, and any questions about how a site uses your information should be directed to that site. We verify as much as we can all the links we add to our site and ensure their certain quality. If you have any problems with the sites we link to, please let us know.

Your access to your personal data

You have the right to access any personal data we hold at any time. You can do this by emailing support-hr@naturecan.com and asking us to share that information with you. That data may not be available in a common format so it may take some time to get that information in an easily viewable form.

Information we collect during billing

When you purchase an item from our website, we need to collect enough information to take payment for that item, as well as shipping information to send it to you. We also ask for your mobile phone number, but this is optional and is only used so that we can send you SMS about the progress of your order.

Social media

We also use social media to share information and to advertise our products. These are conducted using individual social media platforms and as such, the privacy policies will be specific to that platform and will not be covered by this privacy policy.

Changes to our privacy policy

We regularly review our privacy policy to ensure that it is clear and that the information in it is up to date. This privacy policy was last changed on May 1, 2019.
